Owner
Bruce Baker is a third-generation business owner in the construction industry, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Bob Baker (Baker Lumber and Baker Miller Lumber), and his father, Bob Baker Jr. (Bob Baker's Kitchens), serving the Central New York region.
Bruce began his career in the flooring industry in 1983 as a partner in Cal Vada Flooring. He later returned to New York in 1992 to establish B&B Floor and Home, continuing the family tradition of quality craftsmanship and service.
Administration
Jennifer Baker, wife of owner Bruce Baker, joined B&B Floor and Home in July 2024 after a rewarding 42-year career as a Registered Nurse serving Cortland and Tompkins Counties. In her role at B&B, Jennifer supports human resources and is enjoying learning about the operations, processes, and terminology of the flooring industry. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren—driving her 1965 Mustang, spending time at their camp in the Adirondacks, riding my vintage electric bike and traveling with my husband, Bruce.

Jeff Andersen is the Sales Manager at B&B Floor and Home and has 3.5 years of experience in the flooring industry. Before joining B&B in 2022, he spent 20 years in the restaurant industry. Jeff enjoys the planning and detail work that goes into each project and seeing how the completed projects turn out. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and pets, occasionally reading, playing soccer and games.

Jane is a Bookkeeper/ HR/Notary at B&B Floor and Home and has 2 years of experience in the flooring industry. Before joining B&B, she operated her own professional cleaning business, worked in Banking and was an Office Manager for a local Construction Company. She has processed paperwork for several LLC companies, obtained her Notary License in 1998, and volunteered at her Church as Clerk and Treasurer.
Jane has been part of the B&B team since February 2024 and enjoys all aspects of her job. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband "Lawrence", grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jane spends her free time doing her hobbies of reading, quilting, gardening, baking and is now attempting to Knit.
Estimator
Sean Hughes is a commercial estimator at B&B Floor and Home and has 5 years of experience in the flooring industry. Before joining B&B, he worked in construction project management and design. Sean has been part of the B&B team since 2021 and enjoys figuring out everything that need to go into a project to make it successful. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and spends free time hunting and spending time in the outdoors.

Jim Wood is the Residential Superintendent at B&B Floor and Home and has 40+ years of experience in the flooring industry. Before joining B&B at its inception, he was a member of the United States Air Force. Jim has been part of the B&B team since 1993, and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing projects through until the end. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren, and spends his free time woodworking and enjoying sports.
